The main objective of the APIIC is the nodal agency of the Government of Andhra Pradesh responsible for promoting industrial growth through the development of infrastructure. It plays a central role in facilitating industrialization by creating world-class industrial parks, Special Economic Zones (SEZs), and other industrial infrastructure.

1. Key Schemes & Initiatives
a. Industrial Parks & Clusters Development
- APIIC develops Industrial Parks (IPs), Industrial Development Areas (IDAs), and Special Economic Zones (SEZs) to promote sector-specific industries.
- Clusters for sectors like electronics, food processing, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, and textiles.
b. MSME Support Schemes
- Allocates plots at subsidized rates to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
- Provides common facilities and shared infrastructure to reduce initial investment burdens.
c. Plug-and-Play Infrastructure
- Ready-built factory spaces, internal roads, water supply, and power to attract fast-moving industries and startups.
d. Public-Private Partnerships (PPP)
- APIIC partners with private investors for infrastructure development and maintenance of industrial zones.
e. Land Pooling & E-Auctioning
- Transparent online land allocation and e-auction systems to ensure fair access.
- Land pooling schemes for balanced development while compensating landowners.
