Profile

                The main objective of the APIIC is the nodal agency of the Government of Andhra Pradesh responsible for promoting industrial growth through the development of infrastructure. It plays a central role in facilitating industrialization by creating world-class industrial parks, Special Economic Zones (SEZs), and other industrial infrastructure.

• Land Acquisition and Development: Identifying, acquiring, and developing land for industrial use.
• Infrastructure Development: Establishing roads, power, water supply, and communication facilities within industrial areas.
• Industrial Parks & SEZs: Planning and developing industrial parks and SEZs to attract domestic and foreign investment.
• Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs): Partnering with private sector entities for infrastructure development.
• Single Window Clearance Support: Assisting industries in obtaining required approvals and clearances.
• MSME Support: Providing infrastructure and support to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

1. Key Schemes & Initiatives

     a. Industrial Parks & Clusters Development

• APIIC develops Industrial Parks (IPs), Industrial Development Areas (IDAs), and Special Economic Zones (SEZs) to promote sector-specific industries.
• Clusters for sectors like electronics, food processing, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, and textiles.

     b. MSME Support Schemes

• Allocates plots at subsidized rates to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
• Provides common facilities and shared infrastructure to reduce initial investment burdens.

     c. Plug-and-Play Infrastructure

• Ready-built factory spaces, internal roads, water supply, and power to attract fast-moving industries and startups.

    d. Public-Private Partnerships (PPP)

• APIIC partners with private investors for infrastructure development and maintenance of industrial zones.

     e. Land Pooling & E-Auctioning

• Transparent online land allocation and e-auction systems to ensure fair access.
• Land pooling schemes for balanced development while compensating landowners.

• Infrastructure Creation: Roads, drainage, power, water supply, and effluent treatment plants in industrial zones.

• Greenfield Projects: Initiating new industrial corridors and townships, e.g., Visakhapatnam–Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC) and Chennai–Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC).
